You dare to peek at my website? How brave of you. To be completely honest, I didn't expect anyone to do that so quickly.
Nonetheless, I hope you find what you've been searching for. Cheers, and watch out for Mephisto.
This website is going to stay as simple as it is. Yep, no tweets, no RSS, no I Like It button for Facebook. There are places for news to appear on, mostly BoardGameGeek. This is going to stay as my NSHex portfolio.
Ano, i polska wersja pewnie niedługo się pojawi.
- Michallus
My name is Michał "MichallusTG" Herda. I live and study in Zamość, Poland. I have been playing Neuroshima Hex since 2007. Around 2008 I have become a fanatic, which caused me to start developing that delicious board game in various, often unusual and weird ways.
I'm associated only partially with Portal Publishing. (read: no money)
Mephisto is an unique additional army for Neuroshima Hex, which forces both you and your opponent to play NSHex in a completely different manner. One HQ-unit, unusual modules and lots of various instant tiles cause you to rethink your strategies, while its furious, almost self-destructive manner of fight brings a lot of dynamism into each play it is involved in.
You will find no other army with 28 pages of a manual, including explanations of all the rules, examples of play, Hex-Aches for you to train on and beautiful illustrations by Maciej "Edi" Wodecki and Mariusz Gandzel.
Is Mephisto not enough for your need of twisting Neuroshima in various ways? Do you feel that your Babel13 is not used often and hard enough? Here comes the thing to solve both of those problems: a campaign for Neuroshima Hex: Babel13, telling a story of a giant war between humans allied just for that case and an alien, disturbed by the atomic explosions above the surface.
Twenty two pages and two score-tracking sheets, illustrations done by Mariusz Gandzel and quite a lot of flavor text and stories make up for an unique experience which is sure to take a lot of your time by Neuroshima Hex, Babel13 and Mephisto.
Player's Almanac is the only manual you will ever need for for Neuroshima Hex!* It covers all the rules, both basics and advanced ones, a multitude of official and fan-made armies, explanations for all abilities and attacks, a giant FAQ section and all the wicked and paradoxical situations you will ever see on the board!
It's a sad thing that it's still a WIP, eh?
*not guaranteed
Strategist's Almanac is a try gather all the campaigns and scenarios for Babel13 from the whole wide Internet in one manual. No more looking for the whole web for one particular scenario or complaining that there is nothing to play using B13's terrains - this almanac, published in volumes, is going to keep you entertained!
It's such a sad thing that it's another WIP, eh?
Doomsday Machine Tactics is my first project, dating late 2008 and explaining all things Doomsday. Well, maybe not the year 2012, but you are going to find explanations of rules and tiles, basic tactics and strategies mostly used against certain armies.
Yeah, I was still a kiddo in creating manuals when this was created. I still am, but shhh.
Are you looking to have fun with Neuroshima Hex even without others? Are you aspiring to become a master of hexes? Hex-Aches are going to be perfect for you!
What chess problems are for chess, Hex-Aches are for Neuroshima Hex. Puzzles, both simple and complex, are saved as static images, but what you do on the board with the tiles you are given is far from static. Every puzzle is different, most have more than one solution, some need you to think in different categories than usually, but none of them is unsolvable. Try for yourself!
My whole vast collection needs some repackaging and polishing before it is put here. So, WIP.
